Coorg Pork Curry

Pork 1 kg, cut into medium size piece and smeared with salt, chili powder and turmeric powder

Coarse masala

Red onions 4
Garlic 10 pods
Green chilies 5 – 6
Ginger ½” piece

Powdered masala

Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 2 tsp
Peppercorns 2 tsp
Mustard ½ tsp

• Add the ground masala and one cup of hot water to the pork and cook well.
• When cooked, add masala powder.
• After thorough cooking, add vinegar or kochampulli depending on your taste.
• Keep the gravy thick.
• Serve with kadumbuttu.
