Indian Sea Fish

India has over 1.4 million hectares of brackish water available for aquaculture and 1.6 million hectares of freshwater lakes and about 64000 kilometers of rivers - in addition to a vast coastline. We view some of the sea fish available in India here.
We strived hard to find the names of these Fish in Indian Languages. We could find only a few names in Indian languages and so we present only the names of a few fish in 2 main Languages: Tamil and Hindi.
